Americans Rally Behind Hillary Clinton After She Issues Call To Action Every American Needs To Hear

With all that’s happening right now in America, it’s important that we have people in positions of power who can speak up for those of us who don’t have the ability to fight back against hatred and oppression. Hillary Clinton is one of those amazing examples of an American who will fight for what’s right no matter how hard she has to push. And, at a time when it’s so important for the health and protection of women in America, Hillary is not backing down.

Clinton ripped into Brett Kavanaugh, President Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court, this Wednesday for a remark he made in regards to “abortion-inducing drugs,” offering up a sharp criticism previously made by numerous ranking Democrats that has been given a response by fact-checkers.

Over the course of several tweets, Clinton suggested that the comment proves that Kavanaugh has an extremist ideology.

“Kavanaugh didn’t use that term because he misunderstands the basic science of birth control — the fact that birth control prevents fertilization of eggs in the first place. He used that term because it’s a dog whistle to the extreme right,” the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee wrote.

Clinton continued in a string of tweets, ending with a call to action for every American to stand up against this type of injustice:

Kavanaugh’s comment came this past week after GOP Senator Ted Cruz pressed him to detail the Priests for Life v. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services investigation and holding back from the D.C Circuit’s decision not to listen to a challenge religious employers leveled against the Affordable Care Act’s contraception coverage requirement.

Kavanaugh stated that Priests for Life was an organization that was being forced to offer certain kinds of health coverage over their religious objection to their employees. Under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, he claimed that the question was whether this represented a substantial hindrance to their religious freedom.

“And it seemed quite clearly to me it was,” Kavanaugh said. “It was a technical matter of filling out a form. In that case they said filling out the form would make them complicit in the provision of the abortion-inducing drugs that they were, as a religious matter, objected to.”
